Open the new and the old file in UTFEdit and just move the materials and textures to the same place in your new UTF. Starspheres have their mats included.

i remember a topic here long time ago, there was problem with the surs on ships, it was too long or what, so they wanted to change the coords of mc somehow via hexeditor, i guessed if that works on ships, it may works on SP either. So which offset i must edit?
-
The offset is just a point without any angular values. It would not do anything.

unless someone who knows will respond, the closest way is to edit the texture. cut a piece, move the remain and put it on the other side.I said, all my tries to edit model of starsphere in milkhape makes starsphere full black or out of transparency of galaxies.

I already told you how to fix this! Use UTF Editor, open the original and the new starsphere. Now drag and drop the materials and texture nodes from the original one into your new one! So every material is there and it should work.
