change one encounter to attack & the other to defend… that normally works… other than that… did you set them both to -0.65 or -0.3 I’ve found they chicken out at -0.65 when the enemy is of higher rank & seem to just go at it regardless at -0.3 … also helps to have something for the defenders to defend… as fire from the attackers usually sparks a barney that way too…
and bananas… hehe that’s precious 8-)

change one encounter to attack & the other to defendThe only difference of the area_assault and area_defend encounters are the number of ships and the called pilot jobs (assault_job and defend_job). These only have small differences, e.g. that defenders don’t flee when they are damaged, as assaulters do.
