How adding cargo pods on a battleship?
-
okay… from scratch
any equipment file:
[CargoPod] nickname = <custom name="">DA_archetype = <your direction="">\liberty_dreadnought_realisme_extention.cmp material_library = <your direction="">\liberty_dreadnought_realisme_extention.mat LODranges = 0, <farplane>HP_child = <a hardpoint="" of="" the="" extension="" model="">hit_pts = <irrelevant 1="" as="" it="" has="" no="" .sur="" file="" -="" make="" or="" so="">mass = 2000 explosion_arch = <any explosion="" defined="" in="" weapon_equip.ini="" or="" explosions.ini="">debris_type =</any></irrelevant></a></farplane></your></your></custom>
<a hardpoint=“” of=“” the=“” extension=“” model=“”>the only thing now is in the loadout to add```
equip = <value of=“” “nickname”-parameter=“”>,</value> -
You think I’ve made other things? mmm… I think we are in an impasse…

I want to add this because it’s a realism extention, so it will do the li dread more realistic, and because I can’t resize it by the model tool and by MS3D, so I made a realism extention, that’s all.
It’s the only ship I want to add that so if someone can help me, he helps me.

Mmm… please don’t give me sushi’s tutorial, it’s to difficult for me, and I’ve not yet do informatics studies or big mods and I will learn it at my speed. By the way, can you give me the tutorial please? just to see I’m wrong.

Perfectly done. and for the shield, I add :

loadouts.ini
equip = liberty_dreadnought_realisme_extention, Hpxx01solararch.ini

you do just have to link all hardpoints correctly and it will work. no needs to edit the ship or solar archetype libraries… i honestly don’t get the problem. i could make you a screenshot ingame, where this extension is applied to the shape… check your files for typos. it works for me (with other shapes ofc) and each of my clients and team members. you must have done wrong something as it would definately work otherwise.
