Gallic, Garlic, all the same… Nice work on the models, but I think its a bit too much. As a Colony of the Sirius sector, they should have same tech as all the other, refering to stations and docking rings.
About ships its a different thing.

I’ll post this because I know Lohingren would. The model wasn’t him, he textured it and made the effect, I animated it. But the actual model is Linkus’s I beleive, so it’s his baby.

Just thought I would point that out since me and Loh would be pretty pissed if someone was claiming our work. So I wouldn’t do it to anyone else either.

as gallia joined sirius pretty late to the history of the sector, they migh have different stations during the time before and built the same now in sirius. anyway, great models, do fit to the vanilla ambience and amazing textures. if the gents from discovery need any more animations for gallic models i’ll go for it again^^

thats uh, thats the HW2 Progenitor Dreadnought with some modifications.

I dont know if you did this intentionally or not, but please make it clear if its completely original work or simply derivative. It’s not considered nice.

I took the stripped hull shape, remodelled it added stuff, sorry if some feel hurt because the shape was remodelled and not created (again) from scratch.

Still created and skinned a ship, well if it doesn’t count I take it off the gallery.

This is a test of a few models by Sol Command rendered in Galaxy Empire. All models now contain a bump map, glow map (where original contained a glow) and a gloss map.

So you kinda “enhanced” those models?

Yes, the original only comes with a base texture map. I built the others to go with it. The glow map could be use in FL but the bump and gloss map can’t since it doesn’t have any support for them. I didn’t bother making any detail maps since I didn’t see any need for them.

I did convert alot more than those but some of them need repairing. Several contain backwards faces or not properly centered and rotated. Still, most didn’t have any such issue, all I had to do was convert them to the DirectX format.
