PD: They already told me these figters are similiar to the ones in Void and Disco.
The only ship that have a very small similarity with your Super-Anubis on Void is my Apophis VHF:

I did one myself, used the defender cockpit and some of the “concertina” detail, also a bit fatter to accomodate the two engine nozzels, different gun positions. Strange angle pic so I could check the lod ranges on the liberty thruster. Ship below is a Squire built for an abortive Level 2 re-launch ~many moons ago~
At least the Ra is unique in Fl comunity

weapon_liberty texture used for a figther? Looks a bit dirty in the render. Never seen in in-game thu.

Details are hard to see in the pic. Also, the ship shading is a “bit”(waaaay) too smoth.

Station modules.
Way better than make a “solid” station
The moar variety, the moar type of stations. You know, the same outpost station in every corner of Sirius…

Sols stations can be made modular
What we need is a modeler with the time to do it though… Sol used alot of similar sized pieces (at the attachment points) and themes his work to fit together… so breaking it all up and exporting per piece as per say our actual modular .cmp models should be very easy… might have to close the odd open end though… and that’s were a proper modeler… not just a proficient converter is needed.

When i had to make a nomad station for my mod, i looked at disco’s “Nomad Shrine”, and filled my keyboard by salvia…
I decided to make something similar, but not similar at the same time…
So, my nomad bases:Nomad Hatchery, Nomad Hive and Nomad weapon platform

A quick one.
Is the Freelancer version of Lancer Fighter from Homeworld 2. -
Just a note Fagu, you should turn up the lighting when you render out models. I have a hard time actually seeing your models because the shadows are so dark.
I suggest you set up a simple, re-usable 3-point lighting rig. Or, at the very least use an ambient light like a dim Skylight if you’re using 3DS Max.
I find that most modeler’s weakness isn’t so much in their actual modeling technique, it is that they don’t know how to show off their work. A good render that is well lit will make a model shine.
Other than that, nice work on the models. They would make good additions to the Freelancer universe and fit right in from a stylistic perspective. Exactly the type of Freelancer models I like.

Thanks for teh advice, I used Skylight and Daylight system for this one. Now you should be able to see the ship easily.

If only they looked as good in the game as you’re able to make them look in your renders Why, freelancers lighting sucks.
