The AssaultStar series

Hello. I am an old FL player who returned (again) after a few years of playing other games. You may have read a Star Trek X Freelancer fanfic back in the Lancers Reactor, and that is the only FL related project that I have managed to finish. I have taught myself how to 3d model and I am now trying to turn one of my old model files into a ship playable in Freelancer. It is quite blocky and angular, in order to better suit FL’s art style. Please tell me how you feel about it, and where would improvements be helpful. Thank you.
This is the AssaultStar Heavy Fighter beside an Eagle.
It has 6 guns (2 on the side of the fuselage, 2 each on the inner side of the “wing-plates”) and no turrets, CD/T (Under the cockpit), 60/60 Bots/Batts, and 8500 armour:
It is deigned to be a heavily armoured and armed assault fighter with only slightly less agility than its CTE-series equivalents:
The AssaultStar is a member of a line of Bretonian-designed Civilian ships intended to compete with the Liberty-based CTE-series. Other members include the EscortStar LF (The small ship on the closest row), the MidnightStar Explorer (the one with the blue radar dish), the Enhanced AssaultStar (Only difference is having the tailfin stretched back, at the centre):
There are also a planned VHF variant called the StormStar, a planned light bomber variant called the BombardStar and a (guns-only) freighter variant known as the FreightStar. There are no Battlestars nor Basestars in this series.

Thanks. I grew up with Freelancer, and was too young to have played Privateer/WC. One day I will.
The Double-hulled TwinStar is a concept design for making a VHF/bomber out of the AssaultStar that turned out quite oddly.
The MidnightStar (radar) is inspired by the R-9E Midnight Eye from R-type, presumably it’ll come with a super radar that have full system coverage and immune to nebula effects, It’ll only have the 2 guns on the fuselage, though, the wings would be packed full of sensors.
I am wondering if the model would fit in with the other FL ships. Since they look quite angular, even more so than the outcast/Order ships.
