YF-19 & 21 are on Battleclinic Raz…
along with many, many more Macross/Gundam modelsI have the models here… but they don’t look the best… well not as good as some of the other Macross ships on there…
If ye can wait a few days… I’ll convert both agian and see what i can do about the "cartoon"ness of the ships… basically it looks quite good as a model… but crap in FL
@ Sol… I’ll have a think about the TSP base… hmm… would have to be something pretty “mega”…
what is “really” needed in this dept… is another modular kit like Alderbaran’s awesome space lego… Simple models that can be pieced & coded together to make massive bases… but this time instead of boxy simple models… curvy biotype ones?.. claws… teeth… ect…
oh and wepons… there is a MASSIVE hole in the resource dept for new weapon models… some may be happy using vanilla guns… hehe but not I (lolz)

Thing is I do not know how a weapon for Freelancer should be modeled …… how many pieces, which pieces get rigged by you to move in the game, you know, up/down & right/left. If you tell me more about this I may come with some weapons in the future.
And thx for that awesome station pic Raz !… modular space station … could be something I may look into one of these days.

In the realm of weapons, standard weapons would just be a single piece as they won’t move much if at all.
Turrets would need two groups:
Base (portion that mounts to the ship and rotates)
Barrels (any portion of the turret that elevates to point at the target)It has also been my experience that turrets and weapons are most often designed to be used with a specific ship or group of ships (such as certain turrets I use for my Star Wars ships) and aren’t really suited to use in a “pack” of sorts.
However, a generic pack of weapons and turrets may be something nice for the community to be able to use on their many plethora of vessels.

the ones on battleclinic i am from what i can tell from them are the Skins only which is why i was asking for the models.
the Va’adawar fighter ive not seen anywhere in FL.
i thought you might like it one of my friends is trying to get that working but not having any luck. another thought is the Babylon 4 station sorry i do not have a pic of it.

That Vaadwaur fighter looks weird, the kind of “weird” that only its mother could love lol
I may give a quick try to that station tonight and see if anything good turns out, even if it does, it’s not gonna be “the starport”, just another station.Edit:
I started working on the babylon station, or whatever it’s called, gonna take me a while to complete it but I think you guys will like it

Alright guys, after what appeared to be an eternity, I finished the babylon station and, most important, the texture for it and here it is -> single texture file, available in TGA and JPG format. Took me couple of days to make it but this way it’s extremely easy for anyone to add additional detail to the texture in like a minute … add writing, logos, windows, whatever

Here’s a new fighter model made on request for eagleclaw that features a rather basic texture. It draws some inspiration from a game called Tarr Chronicles, > this ship to be more precise < .

We’ve alrdy converted the station into fl.
Its acctually animated and will be used hardly as targed in “kill solars” random missions.
I’ll make a vid as soon as its integrated.Thanks alot for the model sol its awesome.

Lolz, I just counted all the projects I’m working on …… 17 !!! Guess I better get to work lol
Edit: btw, i got a few requests recently for doing models straight from popular TV shows and games … I’m pretty sure guys that you can download those off the internet somewhere, there’s no reason for me to do them, so that leaves me time to work on other more original stuff.
I’m only doing models that you can’t find anywhere else and only a couple of models per user not an entire list of ships and bases cause I wanna HELP you do your mod, not create the entire mod myself LOLz. Just saying this so you don’t get upset if I turn down your “12 ships plus 5 bases” projectNow, I promised a friend I’ll do a couple of ships for him like 2 week ago but I was busy with all these other projects so I’ll go right to the “drawing board” and do those models.

Sol i got a project for u that is of big interesst for me.
A low polys atlantis model with textures.
A model with 40-50k would be fine as we can split it of.
I do know that there are atlantis models around but most of them need restexturing and sometimes even modelfixing.So a fully functional atlantis, thats what i’ll kiss your feeds for

Actually, as your request has been stated in the boards, I was wondering if you would consider taking a look at 2 ships from the wing commander universe in order to tell us if they seem modelisable by your standards:
if you take a look at the searching for a shipyard article, you’ll see the kiranka and indomitable battlecruiser: jason is still wondering if he can include them in a secret ops MOD named collateral damage. the inclusion of those powerhouses might further the story of the MOD.
Your advice is eagerly awaited.

Mindhunter -> I could probably create or get the Atlantis model from somewhere, but textures … I’m not really in the mood to texture an entire ancient city
Mikael -> so >this< is the Kiranka and >this< is the indomitable ? I think I may have a try at them sometime but I don’t have any textures that fit the wing commander universe, so we’ll see about that. Gimme your messenger email via pm to talk more.
Edit: Mindhunter, you said u want an Atlantis with max 50k polys textured … well this one over here has 25k polys and it’s got some awesome textures:
