Hello all,
First off, about me:
My name is James, i’m 24 I live in the US(Eugene, Oregon to be exact) and I love the rain. I’m going to college to become an EMT and I am an avid gamer ;D
Secondly, and probably the more interesting part. I am a modeler. I have made many models in my career, mostly SOD’s ship for Armada and some Unreal Tournament weapons and levels. I have always loved space sims(colony wars, imperium galatica, sins of a solar empire, startrek games, ect).
My freelance story:
About a month ago I was looking on gamespot and toward the bottom I saw the freelancer title. I read the review and brought it from amazon and about 3 weeks ago it arrived. This has been my first time ever playing it and I must say, I’m loving it. I have never found a game that clicked so well with my interests. I haven’t tired multiplayer yet(I hear its popular) but I did start reading up on tutorials right away and now i’m getting very close to finishing my first ship model. I have played the game for about 8 hours and spent about 20+ hours messing around in gmax and milkshape.
All that is to say, I enjoy making content for people to play more then I actually enjoy playing the games themselves ::)
I really like the community here and once I have a good feel for model development I plan to start taking requests for ships people would like to see added or perhaps even get onboard with a mod someday. But for now, i’m just saying hi
