Bas…Now that is an interesting idea. I’m assuming I would have to burn the file to a cd and then copy it. Considering it would be from a Vista to an XP Im wondering about compatibility. And what abotu the registry, I know FL makes changes there and just copying the game file wouldnt add those values

Im also wondering ii I can download the trial version and then upgrade to full version with my product ID?

Well, tried installing in safe mode and it stopped again at 49%. So I have no idea what to try now.

The game will install on my laptop no prob, so its not the disc. I tried installing after fresh reboot and still getting same error. I have also uninstalled 5-6 other games I had on there but that hasn’t helped. Can I install in safe mode, and would that help maybe?

The game has never been on this PC so it cant be something like that(deactivating files). I’ll try again after rebooting. Thanks for the quick reply!

waves…Im trying to play again, but having issues installing the game. Disc is fine but freezes at 49% every time…Im working on it and have started a thread in the support forum. Hope to see some of you in space soon.

I know that this is beneath most of you here but I’ll ask anyways. I am trying to install the game again and it freezes every time at same place 49% and says “error writing to file please make sure disc is not full or that the file is in use” or something like that anyways. It will install on my Vista laptop but I don’t have proper vid card there. I am getting this error on the XP machine with a better vid card. ANy ideas?
