it is possible this way, didit once this way in the beginning but it’s perhaps not the best solution. But I’m not the pro to make such conclusions

wow, now i like that, in my oppinion it looks much better. Especially the emblem replacement looks great.

actually it looks okay
two things only:
i don’t like the Imperial emblem on the modeland about that green surface, i mean of course it’s a fictional model and no one really cares about the reality.
I just asked me, is it a greenish layer of paint? And why is it rusty when it’s in space.
My suggestion, maybe it looks bit better if you would have a texture with metal like base texture and chipped off paint.Just an oppinion you asked for but still great work

very cool work, but one small detail that you have overseen, since your cockpit glass is transparent and you are not using any cockpit mesh, you can look through the ship (e.g. when the planet was behind the ship)

I play Freelancer cos i’ve tried the trial back 2003 in my magazine.
Actually, i was never interested in that game. But there weren’t good trials and so i decided to isntall FL. And there i was - totally labbergasted by the engine, the first missions. I never played a game before with 3D systems + this graphic. XWA was great and it still ist, but FL has replaced it from the beginning.Release - got me a copy at the next store wen’t home and started the game Completed it very fast. After the first mods came out, i’ve been playing it with different mods like Evolutions 1.27 and 2.29 NRII. Also a old version WTS World or minimods. I think i’ve played the storyline about 7-9 times :S
Multiplayer experience came with Evolutions 2.29 NRII, hard NPCs, some more weps, a full server, I’ve been in the Rheinland Clan and it was a great one. And after a while, all connections to FL lost.A few years later, i’ve installed it again, checked the actual mods and found a mod with stuff i was looking for - a SciFi mix. I had the choice between Solorus and WTS World CCN. I went to WTS after i had too much problems installing Solorus (sorry Witchy,F!R,Grey Wolf and friends ) and WTS just came up with a simple install. That was 2008.
Now i am/was/am a WTS member doing some simple minor modding stuff for the next version.
And all because of the trial in that magazine :lol:

took me a little bit to find out how exactly the Hex trick works but after playing around and chaning the corrupt value behind the Et entry to a 00 value it worked. Thank you very much.

I was about to work on the Material Library of a new model and after i’ve changed the Type from DcDt to DcDtEt it actually showed me a entry of
DcDtÐ0ýýýý. I tried to change it and then a got this one DcDtEt
(some non standard symbols). After a new try i got a error message saying:Debug Error!
Program C:\……utf.edit.exeDAMAGE: after Normal block (#245) at 0x00F72E20.
(press Retry to debug teh application)
abort - retry - ignore.on abort and retry the editor will crash, on ignore it forces my entry but then it won’t work ingame.
This also appears while changing the material names in the Dc/Et_name entries,
I’m still using the old 1.0.01 UTF edit, also tried the 1.0.0.4 but there i already had that problem since the beginning.
Is anybody familiar with that bug? What can be done?
