Hello. My name is DarthTwitch (Or Darth Twitch, if you like. Go crazy) and I’m a 29-year-old self-confessed video/computer game addict and semi-professional layabout. I first played Freelancer about six years ago on my then-amazing-but-now-less-impressive-than-a-pocket-calculator laptop. The frame-rates weren’t that bad, if I recall, but I had very little time so I didn’t really play it. I then misplaced my copy (read: lent it to someone and never got it back)and forgot all about it, until about a week ago when I found a copy in a charity shop for the reasonable price of £1.50. I installed it and the game hasn’t left my drive.

I’m not that far into the game, but I thought I’d go looking for a mod or two, since I heard that Freelancer is eminently modable. Moddable? Modifiable? Whatever. I proceeded straight here to search for a cutscene subtitles mod, and thought it’d be wise to register with the forums.

No joy on the subtitles yet, though I continue to hope.

My computer sucks and I’m poorer than a poor man from the poorest neighbourhood in the capital city of Poorsville in the sovereign land of Skintonia. Not sure how this is relevant, but hey.
