I really was looking for that feature and i did extensive research - and what you said doesnt seem a case, plugin code from discovery and kosacid version are outdated a lot, and they do miss config files but they would work if we could figure out where these “template” files should be - their names and base code. Code from github for FLHook 2.1 was altered by someone and even if anyone will compile it will not work as it miss calls to teplates.
Its worth to mention plugin create these bases as “players” in server.

This is first thing i tried but still it doesnt make textures visible. It show up in HardCMP you can see model in Freelancer Mod Studio but not ingame

Hello. I wasnt post anything from a long long time, but im here all the time. Recently i got problem. I cant make model to show up in game. I know i do small mistake but cant trace it if anyone could check what i did wrong?

Hello all Freelancers
Im experianced ini and dll modder but situation in my team forced me to work on custom models. I wanted to add to game custom station. I have carrefully read all tutorials before i started.I imported my custom station lightwave 3d model to milkshape than saved as ms3d file. Now i opened this file and textured it. I exported cmp file and mat. I checked it in HardCMP and it worked so i decided to throw it to game to look how big it is and scale it to my needs before i hardpoint it.
The problem i encounter is that it doesnt show up in game
I tried LOD ranges but it didnt help i tried few more exports of cmp and mat but still no effect. After many hours of trying i decided to look for help here.
Please can someone check files and tell me what i did wrong? Im sure its some kind of small stupid mistake which i cant find ;(
textures are in dds 1024x1024 i tried tga but it didnt helped tooPlease if anyone can help it would be really apreciated.

I tried few possibilities when making a TC mod and from my experiance - the best way is to not remove old systems just add those new and change starting position for player. When you test your mod in Open SP you CAN NOT delete systems from universe.ini because Open SP reads it for FP7 (intro system) and NY - so you must left those untouched I hope it help you a little.
