I looked into that as well but Comcast decided to remove that functionality from it’s newer modems and their website only sees WiFi devices as available for port forwarding. I also saw that disabling IPv6 would fix that but that was from a early 2000s thread and didn’t think it would apply. Appears that it is still a thing??

Both of us are able to see the game and since I’m local so I’m able to join, but he still is unable to. This was with a fesh download, with only the HD mod

Hey guys I’m looking for a guide that explains how the steps on getting a server running so my old man and I can play together.

I’ve been bouncing around on this forum, videos posted 12 years ago, and other forums with even older posts but I can’t find anything like a step by step guide.

I was able to get a server online and see it on the global server list after changing my ini file, but I wasn’t able to connect.

I know this forum has been here a while and this seems like a longshot but if something like this exists I’d love some help finding it.
