yeah Startrader is right i would not want to have windows xp i will apply the freelancer patch and see if that gives me the account id i dont want to setup FLserver just go into MP.

haleluja it work!! i guess i only had freelancer installed on PlayonLinux i had to install it on Wine 1.1.42 then patched it so im able to play MP. only thing is the servers aren’t up now i’ll check the FLMM and then go from there.

well when i get to the multiplayer screen that screen that says enter in your account id yes the space is blank then it says Create. where do you find the flaccountid. also when you run freelancer in linux its not full screen so i cant see entire screen. what patch are you talking about linux patch?

are you asking me how to set up Freelancer in Ubuntu? you have to go to ubuntu Software Center in Applications then find PlayonLinux install it then run it oh…wait first you have to download Wine before anything else you can find it in the Debian packages repository install it then go to Ubuntu Software Center and install the latest version of Wine then!!..you install PlayonLinux after that run PlayonLinux click on Install then choose what you want to insall education,games,tool,software etc…in the games section you will find freelancer you will need your freelancer CD then just follow instructions.
