but not in the server seletor like it did 3 days ago?!?!?!?

Hello just to let you all know the CursedEarth server is still up and runnig but isnt showing up on the server list.
I am unable to contact http://www.discoverygc.com
as they are having their own problems, so for the time being here is a temp fix to connecting to the server.

You can connect to the server by Creating shortcut for your freelancer.exe and change the destination like this:

“C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Discovery Freelancer 4.86.0\EXE\Freelancer.exe” -s92.236.83.187:2302

who do I contact, the server CursedEarth no longer appears in the globe server, it is running the discovery 4.86 mod.
It was running fine then it crashed and auto rebooted but noone can see it in the listing anymore, some players have connected through the server ip number.

as the discovery server is down i dont know who to contact, any help please

I’m using DSAccountManager1.4.1 to run the server, it has hmtl player on line stats but doesnt seem to update automaticly,I will try ioncross I remeber using it in 2003 when I ran the server, I also remeber the lag I got using it lol,

I just like the way ioncross website let you know who was on line before you entered the website.

rsabatino I went with your Idea but how do I get it to refresh every 30 seconds?

I kind of want it like the old ioncross start up menu so you can see who’s on the server

I ran a server around 7 years ago called the cursedearth, it was vanilla for a year or so until the MIKETBB 1.8g came out and we used that for a while. the server ran for 4 years, anyway enough of the history lesson lol

CursedEarth is back and now running the Discovery mod.
It will be a relaxed role-play server running 24/7.

I am recruiting admin staff ( i need around 6 ) which will act as server police ( JUDGES ~) and help run the forums

CLANS will receive cash help and the leader a full map

Start up money has been set at 500.000 so that should give any player a good start.

I know what your saying, making a server now would be pretty pointless now a days! which is kind of sad as this is a excellent game!

It makes me a little sad seeing so many servers gone like raw, Elite, Eagle Utopia and so many more, whats worse they closed years ago

The CursedEarth Server will just have to remain a memory.

WOW! I’ve been away from FL for 6 years and I’m so happy it’s still running

I was the admin of a server called CursedEarth, it ran for about 4 years on and off.
The members and admin were a great bunch of girls and boys, the admin held the title of JUDGE lol
I borrowed the title of RAW Server where I was admin, I was Judge-Rico.
Man it was good times, I spend 100’s of hours on this game and running the server.

I was so gutted when I loaded up FL yesterday after finding it up in the loft to find the glob server close I went straight to the Lancers Reactor Forums and found this place thank god!!

a lot has changed but I’m glad to see Players still keeping the game going, I don’t know what it is about FL but I love it!!

I would love to start a server again but where would you begin lol?

Is there any players or old admin on here who played on CursedEarth back in the day? I would love to here from you guys
