Hi,

i have a question. Is possible to make dynamic charge_rate parameter of [Power] ? Well this should be used for reactor control, so you can increase/decrease power output from reactor (using fuel for reactor and manage consuption of fuel). Also you should overload the reactor for more power (= possibility of destruction of ship).

Possible parameters:

commodity used as fuel
minimun power output (~ 50%)
maximum safety output(~110%)
low chance of explosion(<115%)
high chance of explosion(>120%)
change step (~ 5%)
keybind for increase output
keybind for decrease output

I realise that this should be hard and probably only by Flhook, just wanna know if it is possible and where to start.

You know that maximum of difference is 100. If you write more that 100 it wouldn’t work. So you must move maximum difference to higher rank that 19. It work as complex whole. If you set maximum difference to rank 14 server will think that it is the best what he have and sent it to mission as the best of the best. The balance between each other is important too. There isn’t one but many operational settings that work. It only depends on what you want.

You must try it… Play with setting and test it. I must redone setting totally five times!

EDIT: Size of numbers is also important too

In my opinion it is possible without using patch made by Adoxa. I’m working on missions with rewards between 5.400-6.300.000$. Still testing but this is a result: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKdUu10TP80

EDIT: It’s prototype but it work beyond expectation.

There is way to do this as you want… It’s simple… The Galaxy mod and SWWT use this option and it works fine.

You must define NPC as asteroid. Also you need faction for asteroids and shield that is indestructible by normal weapons, but miner arm(gun/turret) yes… You must add weapon type to all weapons in your mod to function this…

The next step is encounter file. Is good to make new shipclass for your asteroids, but it’s not necessary.

The NPC asteroid need engine with very slow speed(1, 0) and also you need to remove voise and names from faction(it’s strange… speaking asteroid with name Lt. Aaron Young).

I suppose you can make you own loadout, shield, ship and encounter file…

I don’t want change it for all scanners. I want more differences between scanners - more parameters which characterize scanners (from 2 to 3 parameters).

When you make a scanner you define detection radius and cargo scan radius. For any scanner is detection time same.

Detection time - time that is needed for add object to scanner list

If i understand your question it is possible. I tried it. There is one problem. When you try to undock the server will crash because you are in first system(for server) on base in second system. When you try to undock server compare “system” in “universe.ini” and charakter and find a diference => crash.

Maybe if you combinate jumhole with base it may work, but i realy don’t know how to do it. If you find a way to rewrite system position in charakter it will work.
