FF is right. The star’s energy level decides it’s color (blue is the strongest).
You see the star’s color only under a filter (Earth’s atmosphere for example) of ambient gas. The thicker the filter is, the more colorful the star is.

Actually… Well, its still a simulation, not the real thing. Just add a high spin rate to the star and effect, and you’ll get what they show in the video.

I read it, but I didn’t understand the “freezing” thing, I thought you meant that the SUR went out like an ice block - without holes. Well, wether it works or not, manual splice is still the most solid way.

You tried to splice manually? There is no absolute tool yet, so if you want a good SUR do it yourself.

Try to use the obj->sur converter.
