I take it the silence means there are no missions to fly against those factions…

Is there any base, no matter what faction (*), from where I can fly missions against The Wild or Nomads?

(*) Okay, Rhineland officials maybe are not such a good idea as I am not exactly, well, friendly, with those guys atm…

Tried:

• Moving in all directions
• reloading and retrying over and over again
• that /stuck thingie in chat window which is obviously kinda nonsense in sp, uh?

I’m in open singleplayer. Any suggestions what I could do except bying a new ship for which I have fortunately enough money.

I can install Freelancer under Windows 7 64bit, watch the intro movie, play around in the menus just fine, but when I go to “new game” the game always crashes.
I already installed patch 1.1 plus Adoxa’s JFLP patch from here: http://the-starport.net/freelancer/forum/viewtopic.php?topic_id=4756

I also tried to run the game under XP Service Pack 2 and 3 campatability mode and in administrative mode. It doesn’t help. There are no mods installed.

Processor is an AMD Athlon II X2 260 Processor 3.2 GB,
graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GT 240.

I only want to replay the singleplayer campaign again, so no multiplayer stuff or so.
