After reinstalling and playing Freelancer for a while with no issues, I noticed after a while that for some reason, all radio chatter had ceased. Enemies, docking rings, stations, cargo scans. I still get cutscenes all right, and alerts like “Incoming missile”, but I miss my chatter and want it back!

At first I thought I had toggled something off in a menu somewhere, but I couldn’t find anything. I’ve turned 3d sound on an off, played with the sound level, nothing. I don’t see how it can be my drivers, because radio chatter worked fine at first. Help?
