Since apparently there is a need for something like this, I coded a simple program converting sound files into wav embedded mp3 for use with Freelancer.
It mostly is a standalone version of this:

So thanks to M0tah for the original idea.
It’s a straightforward windows GUI application which converts files into .wav and places them in an output folder. Converting multiple files at once is supported.
It should work, but it has not been tested thoroughly. If you find bugs or issues, just leave a message here and I’ll fix it asap.
