You can get some pretty seriously kick-butt effects even with just the DX8 Freelancer; just be sure to install the latest DX9 from Microsoft, and then crank up ALL the settings on your graphics card.

It’s kinda funny when you max it all out on your card and then you still need to manually push the GPU to full speed 😛
