ahh I actually found what the problem is and yes I think I do have a bad copy due to the fact that my account ID to type down cannot be found… but at least the single player works fine…

I’ve just learned about Freelancer and started playing it for about two to three weeks now on the campaign side learning the controls and what to do.
My friend told me about this game to start me out on learning to mod but to put me in a class set im a player for now till I start learning to mod and other aspects. I have a windows 10 for HP which sucks but got to play the story line but not the online play due to figuring out why I cant put in a full username; meaning that half of the keyboard runs in dashes (-) than the letters. I’ve been stumped on how to fix this.

Hey everyone, the one problem that I have with the game is not being able to put in a username for me for multiplayer. There is only a few letters that im able to type then the rest are dashes (-). Example: –-fs-a–028 instead of WolfSpawn028
I am running a windows 10 on an HP.
Is there anything that I can do to fix this?
