Lightmaps - HELP

I would like to use lightmaps (again: LIGHTmaps) for some models to simulate shadows, but I don’t know what entries control that in UTF. Anyone knows? ;D

lightmaps dont similate shadows
they simulate light in dark areas (do not mix up with glowmaps which glow no matter if its dark or bright)

Thanks but (again) I’m talking about light-maps and not glow-maps

AFAIK they don’t exist in FL, there are no options for it in materials, nor shadow maps.

OK i though Ermissive Textures are lightmaps in FL cause they do light in the dark but in a light system with bright ambient light u can’t rly see the lightmaps on the models.

Op would u bee so kind and let us know how u’re doing lightmaps?

there are various material types which support lightmaps
you have to change the alpha channel of the texture in order to get it to work

the emmisive/glowmaps definitly glow even when its bright… you can test this by using different colored textures
