Gedit - The greatest Text-Editor ever seen
-
Hey,
I have to show you something, it’s the best Texteditor I’ve ever seen, it has syntax Highlighting, Plugin System(A Snippet plugin), there is even a plugin avaiable to browse the web :o!I did no testing on installing plugins, because I can’t reate the fucking .gnome2 folder on windows, It just tells me “You must specify a filename!” ::) I’ll now try copying it from my linux install
Edit: Found out that python Plugins won’t work. But almost all Plugins are in Python ::)I use it here under Linux, daily, but there is a version for Windows!

I’ve used ConTEXT for a while now, and with global find-and-replace and macro support, it has everything I need for textual editing of FL stuff. It can also, depending on your memory, have thousands of files open at a time, which is great for changes on a massive scale to all base files etc. There haven’t been any recent updates due to the project being shuffled around to various owners, however it has recently become open-source, so development of it may pick up again. http://www.contexteditor.org/

I also use Notepad++ for all my work concerning modding, scripting, web-building, coding and for those boring tasks such as writing or reading. I am very pleased with it. Try it. Hihi. It also adds a shell extension to windows. You right click a file (any file even binary) and select “Edit with Notepad++”. It’s just great. ::) ;D
