Singleplayer leveling crash

Has anyone encountered a bug with singleplayer leveling crashes?
For example, the player is in the mission01-mission02 freetime and has make money until they meet the “player worth requirement” but when they reach that amount… the game crashes.
Originally I had a modified content.dll to increase the worth requirements, but after the crash issue, I reverted to an unmodified content.dll but still get the same crash issue. Nothing in the M02.ini is changed, so it rules that out. With the content.dll reverted to a known good version, I can not figure out what else would do this.
Has anyone encountered this before? If so, what did you do to fix it. Please help, I want to show the singleplayer people some love but need to get past this hurdle.

Some questions m8:
When do you have crash? You got the requirement for the next level, or when juni logs in at the left corner of the windows?
If the second one, may 3d sound is on.
I dont know what modification have you made in new york, but that crash may conected to the waypoints or/and objects positions:- did you moved planet manhattan or any other planets, tradelanes, bases from the stock positions that the waypoint can not find?
-do you play on windows or full screen?
-what version of sdk do you use?

It appears to crash right when it says you’ve advanced to the next level.

Positions of nothing have been changed in Manhattan.

Kind of “half victory” but it seems sdk 1.3 is responsible to this crash.
Ive seen after on the net, and some guys wrote cutscenes and this log on windows may cause crash if you use sdk 1.3
An other wrote between mission 1b, and mission 2 accepted job at missouri bs kinda navy mission and when he reached the next level got crash (every time when he tried).
Hmm, the first one conceivable, when you reach level 2 juni will log on to upload waypoint to manhattan….Huh, hope it helps, but i know its not much.

I remember seeing this in some old mods that were SP compatible…
Think its a pathfinding problem m8… the “fix” was… as they advised to not leave liberty untill mission trigger event…

Apparently it was a pathfinding issue. I suggested it, and Digdug tested it, and the crash quit. I’ve yet to do it on my end and see how it works.
To fix this, there are two options:
-
Modify the SP to lock all of the stuff which was unlocked for multiplayer at the start of M01.
-
Modify each of the missions to remove the waypoint function at the start of the mission.
At any rate, I’m really glad this is sorted. Hopefully the singleplayer guys will be able to play the full SP storyline using the additions and improvements of Shattered Worlds :: War-Torn
