FLHook 1.6.1 not starting when the server starts
-
I did a format of my HDD after backing up my files. When I reinstalled FLHook 1.6.1, it won’t start when the server starts. The processor manager says waiting for connection to flhook, but of course since the flhook window didn’t come up, that’s not possible. Below is my daconsrv.ini file
@include FL_Dev.ini [DACOM] IgnoreDACOMEnv = true DllPath = .\ [Libraries] readfile.dll engbase.dll x86math.dll rendcomp.dll system.dll Thorn.dll DebugLib.dll rp8.dll shading.dll FLHook.dll [System] DirectX8 MaterialLibrary TextureLibrary [Engine] Animation Hardpoint RenderManager [RenderManager] SphereMesh TriMesh
Any ideas why it won’t start when the server does would be appreciated

FLHook2.0Plugin same with new?
-
Not sure what you meant by ‘FLHook2 same with new’, but I downloaded and installed it. It did start although it wouldn’t load my minecontrol, dsace, or playercntl plugins. Duh. They’re for 1.60. Looking on the site I downloaded it from, I just about started salivating. an actual bountyhunt plugin that’s the same version of FLHook. Been looking for that for a while now. Plus some other neat plugins I’d like to try.
Does this work with Discovery 4.85? Soon to be 4.86.

I would like to use the 2.0, but the problem is it doesn’t seem to have a dsacesrv plugin. I need that for some customization. My server rules in place of the standard discovery rules, a few slightly modified ID’s and such. But when I try running it with that plugin in the flhook_plugins folder the flhook console tells me unable to load dsacesrv plugin. Other than that it would be great. I’ve wanted a bountyhunt plugin.
I did finally figure out what the problem was. the file FLHookVC6Strings.dll wasn’t in the main exe folder but in the plugins folder. With it in the main exe folder, flhook works great. Although the flhook console reports
Error: Could not read plugin info (Get_PluginInfo not exported?): FLHookVC6Strings.dll
But if it’s not there FLHook won’t hook into the server when it starts. Go figure.
