Autopilot unreliable

Yes…, I searched and didn’t find anything applicable to this concern, apologies if it’s right there in front of me, I probably didn’t use the exactly correct search parameter.
Most times autopilot detects objects in the path and avoids them minefields not withstanding. I’m speaking primarily of bases, planets, suns, objects such as asteroids, etc.
Sometimes though autopilot will fly me around a sun, at other times it will fly right through it as if it isn’t there. The location of the object is exactly the same on both the server and the client, so that’s not it.
What else could it be?

Well, it turns out the client mod was missing the atmosphere_range setting for the sun. Once that was added in, autopilot works again.

I should clarify…
The server mod and the client mod both were missing the atmosphere_range setting which is equal to or larger than the death_zoneI added it into the server mod and autopilot still did not redirect my path around the sun. Once I added it into the client mod it worked properly.
So, it’s either a client side thing, or both but not server side only.
