Suggest: Loading sequence of webpage
-
Dear Admin team,
You may know i’m comming from a Internet restricted country, which means some website, even it’s famous, i still cannot access it in normal way. Including direct access And via a Javascript calling.
I mean the twitter widget one to be exactly. That TSP using for display TSP official tweets. But my web browser keep trying to load data from twimg.com which be blocked by the ***, so i need to waiting for it to see the rest of page until my web browser finally perceived: OMG, i’m timeouted. AND this happens everytime i open TSP webpage.
I’m not crazy guy want you guys remove the nice widget just because i can’t access it. Instead, i found a good way to solve this problem:
just move the
blablabla ```things before the
blablabla
And thanks for the float in both id's style, it should works good without no any visible change. (Only tested in Chrome) PS: just trying to make my suggest more attractive: Load the main content as soon as possible is also good for search engine :)

But then it would be loaded anyway. Doesnt it? As long as javascripts dont influence the code on the page they can be moved to the bottom of the entire page, so they are loaded after the entire page has been loaded. But thats merely useable today as more and more scripts are running to change layout or style or whatever else for the user…
Instead you could try for plugin for your browser that dont load tweets and data collection plugins, counting pixels etc…

regarding to a browser addon/plugin:
noscript and then simply block twitter.com -
Yeah, you got it man. I’m afraid Xoops (especially the cobbled together version we’re using) is really hard to modify. Not sure I want to delve into its innards and try to figure out how to change it
Glad to hear you solved it though. NoScript and AdBlock are just amazing.
