Phpbb portal server stats

I have seen on some sites they have a module in one of their bars showing the current players online ect, dose anyone know where you can get this from?

afaik DSAM is generating some sort of stats aswell

oh yes i no about these but what i mean is, i want my forum portal to look at my server and go oh there is 5 people on there and then show on the portal side that there is say 5/40 players on server ect

As M.o.D suggested, DSAM is what you look for.
The web stats that is generated can be easily uploaded every few minutes with TinyUpLoader on your portal/site.
