Freelancer is still alive - Yeah!

Just found my “New Release” Freelancer CD buried in a little Treasure box the other day and was amazed it not only works on WIN 8 with no issues but there is actually a fan site and other die hards like me still playing this great game! I even got Privateer going too, still just as good.

But I must admit I am a bit lost where to start here. I want to try some mods (don’t know what’s good and wot’s not), probably single player just to see I can get it working but then I want to join a MP group but the few I looked at so far don’t seem to have freelancer on them or are closed?

So where does an old Freelancer vet go to get a game with somebody?

Many different Mods are available and it depends on ur style of play and whats ur preference. My suggestion would be:
Just check out the active servers list here –-> http://www.flserver.de/topservers.php and do some testing on Mods they´re providing on these Servers.
