hey

im wanting to make a program in c# to get chat from an irc channel, which i will then forward ingame using the FLAC plugin system, i can do the plugin stuff myself but i dont know how to get the chat from a channel, can anyone help me?

im guessing it would require a bot making, which would be connected and would listen/retreive send chat in the channel?

Check out this. It’s an IRC bot SDK written in C++. I’m guessing you could probably use it in C# as well.
