Just an idea:
Could someone make a plugin, that when loaded, it checks a .txt file on a HTTP server to see if any of the other installed plugins (and its self) are out of date?
Then if one is out of date, it displays a warning and logs it.
you could go one better and use Lancer Solurus’s auto updater, very nice program and detects any file change and prevents entry to the server if they are changed
