Photoshop cs2 and dds files

Hi, I’m having problems with photoshop opening dds files. I dropped the 2 files that came with the kasdian overhaul
manual but when I tried opening the texture files in ps cs2 I get that windows can’t open this file: error. I’ve dropped the files in the correct folders but its not having it. Any help is much apreciated ;D
