Some might remember my ship animations:
We now have about 10 animated ships.There are still some glitches in the beta installer:
- If you never had run Freelancer, the modoptions don’t work. Close them and run them after you were in the menu of Freelancer.
- The first update may fail on some systems. If this is the case move everything from the EXE\temp folder one level before and start the mod again.
- If you have any singleplayer savegames, this might crash the game on startup, since Freelancer loads at least the autosave on startup (typical Freelancer logic). If you have problems, try to move them.
If you are unsure which folders to select:
The first one has to be an unmodified Freelancer installation. Some files are checked to ensure there is no error. FLMM tends to corrupt installations. Don’t select any subfolder. Just the main Freelancer folder.
The second one has to be empty. The mod is a separate installation. The unmodified Freelancer will not be touched, only copied to this second folder and after that the mod will be extracted into it.There will be a new installer once the beta phase is completed (you don’t need it if you have already an installation).

It’s a complicated client/server hook from me. Someday I might be able to release a version others can use, but for now I just don’t have the time for it.
