Seriously it would be a good idea to start somewhere. Not always diverging. You say that OP burned the bridges. At least i have seen an apology in his former posts and showed to unban the accounts. Name it what you want - but imo a trigger to move closer to each other.

Burned bridges can be built up again - but that needs time and effort from both sides. I am glad that with the continuing natural selection - we Germans can get rid of our former bad history. In regards that nowadays youth has no debt at all. But thats something different.

I can really good remember a situation here (two or three years ago) where we had a similar situation about a “joke” that was made. It did end nearly in the same situation. But nothing has been learned meanwhile - with or without purpose. What about some ways to finally talk with each other, making compromises, admit failures no matter from which sides, weight arguments - and try to find solutions, or comprises - more or less to cooperate? The aim should be to serve the community - thats your task, thats the task of every admin, leader, whatever.

I just fear that the majority of us normal users say - oh no not again. There are always at least two involved in quarrels. So its not always only OPs fault - also “yours”.

I would wish there could be peace between both or three communities - for the good of all. Because we all belong to the Freelancer community and in my eyes everyone is equal to each other.

That’s rather rude of you to say. I’ve been around a few times (longer than my join date here would suggest) and there’s a /reason/ I don’t have a Lancer’s Reactor account, but I have one here and I post on it regularly.

Well if its about the archive - an suggestion that could be thought of is to outsource it to someone else - make a council whatever you want to name it - that will host this side. Where both can link to. But that would mean both sides need to give in at one point or another - and there i would admit. That wont happen anytime soon - sadly.

Although Op has caused a lot of drama here at TSP, I don’t think you should ban him over just that. Because that would be falling to his standards.

I think what everyone needs to do is step back, take a look at the situation and realise it’s a lot worse than it has to be.

If both communities just let it be and stopped being inflammatory towards each other, everything would be fine and dandy, and people that participate in both communities wouldn’t have a reason to laugh / be annoyed with you all.

Anyone can lay blame on someone else, but the mature ones take any sort of baseless accusation and roll with it. None of these accusations will change anything.

The fourth LR admin which received the same treatment from you, congratz. You’ve been acting worse than he ever did. Calling others “fanatics” is just a very good example.
