When texuring, how do you figure where to brake a mesh into different parts? On very large pieces I work on, (example below) the scale has to be way off the uv map to fit right. (using lithunwrap) When working on small stuff it seems way easeir. So, my question is how do you guys do it? how do yuo setup models for texturing. I’ve looked at plenty of tuts, but they don’t seem to give me a starting point really.
