Path to alaska jump gate

hello i am working on a mod in open single player and i was wondering if this was ever done. having ships both navy and order enter the hole that is in zone 21 to get to the alaska jump gate? i have order and navy ships fighting nomads in alaska and i made prison base mitchell sell stuff.

Look for the notched diamond in the mine field (in the star map), thats where the tunnel is. It’s on the lower left corner of the mine field.

Two ways I’ve used. The earlier mentioned trick of taking the tradelane to the Texas gate and ESCing out of the tradelane at the third tradelan gate. From there hang a left and come in on a direct approach to the Alaska gate. The Alaska gates is lined up with the pathway.
Another way is to just fly up to the minefield from Battleship Missouri while keeping an eye on the jumpgate. When your position is directly lined up with the gate, cautiously approach the minefield until you can visualize the hole.
I don’t think that’s the answer he’s looking for though. What you need to do is add NPC encounters to that zone. I believe Outcasts are already using that zone. The zone should be a cylindrical zone I believe. Adding fc_or_grp and li_n_grp to to that zone should do it. (It’s a little more complicated than that, but that should get you started).

The answer is yes, it is possible to put a patrol in there - just make sure that the patrol starts/ends at stations with relevant factioning, and that you remove the entry that locks the jumpgate to npc’s (if memory serves me right). If you utilise something like FL:E to make the patrol paths, then you can make it highlight the exclusion zone for zone 21 to show where the clear area is.
