Blueshifting .ale
-
I implemented two new weapon ales which were recoloured from existing effects. Now, there wasn’t anything wrong with them before. The first one was teal and the other was white. I had renamed the weapons with unique names to avoid conflicts so there shouldn’t have been any problems. This is what they looked like in-game:

http://i849.photobucket.com/albums/ab53/ChillerMiller/vamps1.jpgThen colours on parts of the effects turned blue. I didn’t touch the colour values in the ale. One moment they were showing up properly and then parts of them had turned blue for no reason.
The teal on the first projectile became blue and the muzzle flash on the white effect turned deep blue as well.

http://i812.photobucket.com/albums/zz49/Xalrok/NeoTerraDev/Freelancer2011-10-0108-05-25-46.jpgThe ale file says that the guns should be teal and white. I’ve set the red and blue values to zero, but that hasn’t gotten rid of the blue.
I’ve tried switching characters, changing guns, restarting Freelancer to see if it was a conflict with another ale but they stayed blue.
The names shouldn’t conflict with anything either since they’re completely new.
Does anyone know or have an idea of what’s happening?

This is just a random thought, but when I was playing around I edited some of the txm’s in data/fx, which caused funky things to happen.
Have you made changes to any of those?

Some of them have been changed, but that was several weeks ago and I never saw this blueshifting happen on other weapons in that time. The two effects I added were showing up in their normal colours and then randomly turned blue, but no FX txms were changed in that time. It seems to be happening to these two effects only and nowhere else.
