Duplicate characters in DSAccountManager

I notice that in DSAccountManager, if I click on show deleted characters and then show all characters in account, it will show all characters that have been on the account. Is there a way to remove the deleted characters? I have even seen one or two that are deleted, but have an undeleted active character with the same name. I would like to be able to remove those duplicates, the ones that have been deleted, but I can’t find the file anywhere in the account directory.

This isn’t surprising because when I click on the file tab, the window where the file would be shown is blank.

The reason why I want to do this is I had an issue while constructing server restarts and it ended up giving all characters the same display name; the name of the character I had deleted and recreated several times.
