Well … As I said, I am not the creator of fashion, I’m just an administrator on the forum.
That’s what the creator of fashion replied:
“And what to say, let them specify specific files - I’ll answer for each particular file, the music is taken from the Internet, model - fashion from the Night Stalker, and then is not the owner of Freelancer, Freelancer owner is Microsoft, let him produce documents for the right to make changes to the software software to Microsoft.
The creator of fashion - Mongol.” -
Can I have some of that popcorn Xar? Haven’t seen an episode of “call my bluff” in donkeys years! In all honesty, I don’t think it’s going to have the kind of appeal it once used to.
-
You’ve gotta be kidding me.
It might be that some of the music is from the net but not everything. And the models are for sure not from Nightstalker as he never used those.
On the first view I found more than 30 3dmodels which were taken directly from my mod (there are for sure more).
Vertex positions are identical, structure is identical, hardpoints and their position/orientation are identical, surs are identical, textures are identical to the last pixel,… file sizes identical, file creation dates identical, even the hash codes are identical and my personal file signature is still included. All that would not be possible if the source of these files would be different than my mod.
So what does he take me for?We are also not talking about stuff that is owned by Microsoft (for the fact that these files are not owned by MS). Owner is always the original creator or the person which has the permission of the original creator. You (or this Mongol) fall in none of these categories.
Microsoft generally allowed and even supported freelancer modding. What Microsoft did not allow was that you break third party rights. In the interest of your server you should better tell this “creator” to remove everything he has taken from my mod immediately.
If not it will have consequences. -
Sits down with Xar and Timmy
Hey guys I may not be an Ace modder but I can tell when something smells funny here look at Daniels second post, He says he’s not the creator but his sig says he isSecond and slightly more disturbing, is the SWAT_OP-R8R user. Now I don’t know Swat personally but I do believe that he has been a member of this site for more than 24 hours and made more than the 2 posts listed here.
I included the SS so that things can’t be changed.

What is the need to steal things and then call it your own? It seems to be a fashion on the internet, just because it’s in the public domain that anyone can just claim items as their own. This is not the case. If this Mongol dude is in the Ukraine then i fear you will have problems Op, that said if he has stolen from you then i have no sympathy for him at all. Lowest form of creature people like that
-
Spartan, that’s because he’s previously had an account. I assume it was removed at some point and recreated yesterday to post in this thread.
Xarian_Prime and Dromedary, let’s not go accusing people of stealing things please. The problem here is plagiarism.
-
Call it what you want…
either all the files that were taken from Crossfire get removed or ill make sure that this “reboot” mod gets removed from the net. -
Popcorn seems to be still needed.
Op and Daniels may manage aside from this site and then topic may be moved and closed just for history imho. -
Until this matter has been resolved, the link has been removed and this topic is getting the lock.
Solve it in private on your own turfs; this isn’t the place to do it. I will however side with OP if the claims are true, as plagiarism is very much frowned upon around here.
Once this is cleared up, feel free to make a new post.
