Save game modding

Trying to experiment in game a bit, so i need bit of help. I want to know how could I import a ship from later savegame to earlier one (rest of savegame aspects don’t matter).

Might be easier to install Console, then you could just jump to the base that has the ship, give yourself some extra cash, and buy it as usual. Save games have to be decoded (but encoding is not necessary) and possibly dehashed (but for what you want, you could probably get away without it). (Bear in mind, most of my utils are command line driven.)

For a more graphical program you could try out IONCROSS’ single player (save game editor) that you’ll find -> here
If you are using a mod, make sure to generate the right GAMEDATA files with the given programm (also found on the above page)
