I hope this counts. This is my Static Gateway for my TC mod. It took me two days of straight work to get the running start right, and as you can see, there’s still a little glitch in it. Don’t ask how I did it as I worked for a day to get it to do this, ended up screwing it up, then spent another day trying to fix it got it working by accident.

Here’s a flash for a nuke from 40k away (it’s faster and a bit more realistic now but I haven’t touched fl for about two weeks or so, so no new video) and the explosion itself (without flash) at closer range. I did this some time ago and progress was posted on digitalbrilliance:

This is as simple as a new effect can get - but bigger, better things are in the works as well
