Aiming
-
This is a tricky one, because all guns are different, but my advice to all you new people is this.
Find a debris field, turn, strafe and burn thru the field, try to hit the asteroids or debris in that field. You have to realize that your ships movement is very important to your aim, you have to compensate for it. Notice the way your ship moves.
For instance, if you are strafing left, you have to aim a bit on the right of the cross hair, because of your ships movement. If you are strafing right you will have to aim a bit left of the cross hair. If your flying straight you can hit dead on with the cross hair, BUT if you fly straight, your gunna die in PvP. You have to learn to turn, strafe, and burn, AND hit while you are doing this.
Again this takes practice the more you practice the better your aim becomes.
I’ve said this before, and I will say it again, for those of you with bad aim, use 4 Nomad blasters, they are the best guns to learn on, with two Tizona Del Cids for shield busters. For those with good aim use 4 Nomad cannons, the refire rate is slower but they do more damage.
