Hello all i’m going to post a few IN-GAME shots of a totaly new ship of mine.
I started out with a sub looking shape and then added on the armor plating and this is what I have.

This is my first model up next to a Liberty Cruiser.

Then after much reworking here it is one more along side the Battleship Missouri

And here a shot of me putting the ship into the scalfolding at Norfolk shipyard,
made it in my frist attempt and without hitting the sides or top/bottom.

And now fully inside the scafolding and ready for refit,a nd repair.
Would be interesting if you can make it were capital ships
would pull into there for docking as long as they are small enough to fit inside.

You guys wanna see a Discovery Barge?
Massive damn thing it is…
(Note I didn’t even know this thing existed until Disco 4.85 came out, don’t blame me. :P)

If anyone remembers my old Liberty Gunboat model I made some time back…

Thanks to megalodonEC I finally figured out how to get the stupid thing into Milkshape. After many tears I can now fully export models from Lightwave, import them into Milkshape, CMPify them, and then create proper surs for them so that they have perfect hit boxes.

Feels good.

Now that is quite the awesome looking addition to the Liberty fleet!

@Why: Is there any chance i can get your liberty gunboat for New Universe?
It would be a nice addition to the custom rheinland and kusari ship’s we’ve added in 1.8 (ill upload some pics of the rheinland Carrier, Kusari Gunboat and the Kusari Destroyer).

We could also make a trade of ships

It slices, it dices! And it’s got glowmaps. :3 (still working on fixing the SUR though! I think)

Been watching the original series of V over Xmas… it was bugging me i had a skyfighter… but it wasn’t quite “cannon”… so i fixed her with brand new textures (well… more to the original ship…)

.3ds itself was sourced here Skyfighter & reworked to be more like the show (removal of extra hull bits)… she still needs a bit of work… but is passable for this V fan atm 8-)

Btw Xar, I never saw the original but I watched the new series and … WOW ! That mothership over New York almost makes me cry.

Awesome m8… that vantage in the center looks much more defined than the asgard version (still an awesome ship…) looking forward to flying the closest one in your next mod version, sweet looking little killer… 8-)

As you can see they’re quite simple, but I think they fit very well in Freelancer. The Walross is just a modified fat dromy.

I agree, they have sort of a similar “atmosphere” as the rest of the Civilian series, as in Starflier, Falcon, Eagle etc.

I like the Jaguar series the most overall anyway :pint:
