They are buyable, you have to activate an open SP mod before activating Federation Ship pack 2.3, then it should be working.

UltraEdit used to do everything correctly; it’s right that br12_07_base is in the COL06 system now and named COL06_09_Base(New entries are indeed there and are correct), the point is that the old entry is not referred to in any way. And it even works with two entries on the same line, just not with br12_07 removed.^^ I have both room entries and pathfinding under control, just not much time to manually rename all room files;) and path files aren’t done yet.

I know its not the prefix; but its weird, the base doesnt exist so it should rather be crashing when i put it in than when deleting it. Basically i deleted all vanilla systems from mbases and universe + market files and also the vanilla factions.

Above the spew messages, flserver-errors.log seems not to know anything about it. And you’re right, something that doesn’t exist anymore is referred to, but as i said, when the base is in mbases and in no other file, it works; when adding it to universe.ini etc it crashes and when deleting it, it crashes too.

Hi all
Well my problem is I have new system prefixes with three letters instead of two. Now when i go and delete the last mbases.ini entry with two letters(which is not referring to ANY existing base), i get a crash when docking. When not deleting it I get neither NPCs nor missions on my bases. FLSpew tells me the following when crashing:E:\FL\Scratch\Source\DALib\DALib.cpp(376) : WARNING:General:******* DA SYSTEM: trailing references *******
Anyone got an idea on how to solve that? Help would be much appreciated.

After long tests I now assume it’s either the .cmp or the .sur. I had a vanilla solararch.ini entry; using the miningbase_small_rock.cmp with that caused the base to not appear on radar (I was 150k away from the base). Using the same solararch.ini entry with a custom .cmp and a custom .sur(nothing special, just a box ) it appeared on radar.

As long as you put everything on reasonable view distances it works out well. (From my experience, I guess it’s a matter of personal view)

If you really want this to be a monument to FL and its community, I say… Why not make so each ship name has the modeller/texturer’s name(s) in them? As in:
