Encounters above normals

Hiya all
I have a problem with encounters in 3D systems.
If the Zone is on```
pos = -49597, 20000, -31315

pos = -49597, 0, -31315

Patience, someone with the answer will come along soon enough.

Although from my personal opinion, the game deals with things mostly on a 2D plane, especially the navmap, 3D systems are hella confusing for players.

As long as you put everything on reasonable view distances it works out well. (From my experience, I guess it’s a matter of personal view)

Main thing is players that work in groups, looking at the navmap and trying to find them can be a pain in the backside in a 3D system, if you just arrange a place to meet thats fine, but that can put you in the line of fire sometimes.

Just a thought.

If the navmap was designed for 3D, I wouldn’t mind 3D systems too much.

Ive no 3d experience… but have you tried making the zones shape an “ELLIPSOID” then setting the size of the applicable axis lower manually so you can keep them off the zero plane?
