I use foldermatch to compare files to see which are changed/added/deleted, etc.

Install Adoxa’s JFLP to your desktop and then just point foldermatch to your mod install directory and Adoxa’s JFLP. Foldermatch will identify all files and folders as same/orphan/changed/etc. From there you’ll be able to pull out any of the changed files.
