@rsabatino I have. I liked certain aspects of Starpoint Gemini and even some of it’s sequels, but none of them quite captured the feel, interface, and atmosphere of Freelancer like this one does.

No game has ever looked and felt more like Freelancer than this one. It is a direct homage to, and directly influenced by Freelancer.
I stumbled across a video on youtube and originally thought it was a total conversion mod at first. However it turns out it is a stand alone game developed on Unity. It mimics the flight model, combat mechanics, ship modification, module fitting, travel mechanics, and so much more that made Freelancer such a great game.
The developer obviously is a huge fan of Freelancer and this is his labor of love to honor that game.
I am in no way associated with the developer or publisher of this game. I’m just a big fan of Freelancer that fires it up and mods it to replay at least once a year or more depending on what mods I can find.
After more research I found the demo for the game and it’s website. I also discovered the demo on the website will be significantly updated and put on Steam as part of the Steam Next Fest starting Feb 5 2024. So I wishlisted the game to show my interest and support. Figured I’d post here to try and let more Freelancer fans find something that scratches that itch for more Freelancer, spread the word.

They still have their old website up but it’s just the forums. No downloads that I could see. I also tried the internet archive and could get to the download page to see the file download link for TFL_Parallel_Universe_V144_8, but it doesn’t look like anyone actually archived the file itself. You can try internet archives of The Starport, but that’s a long shot also.
