For those who are interested by a solution, I solved it using a simple macro (autohotkey).
Strangely, remaping WheelUp and WheelDown to another key doesn’t work on FL (it’s remaped, but Wheel still have effect on throttle -.- ).
Even WheelUp::return WheelDown::return didn’t work.
So, I made a pretty simple script that “press” the EK key 1/15 of second after the wheel is used. With this macro, engine is activated during a so very short moment that it almost don’t have effect on Ship’s path.
Here is the script :

```V is the key to kill engine, and don't ask me why I made it press 2 time, 1 time didn't work. In flight, it looks like it press it 1 time.
I know this is certainly solvable by changing an offset somewhere, but I don't have the knowledge to find it

Hi everybody
My mouse is becoming a bit old, and roll became more sensitive, so, sometime, the roll is rolling, whereas it should not. Consequence is that ship’s engine is reactivated and it break EngineKill (very anoying in fights)
So, my question is : Is there any way to disable the “increase/decrease speed” on roll? Like that, using roll on mouse won’t make anything anymore. It’s not possible via in-game options, I tested).
Any ideas? I looked for it on this forum, in Freelancer’s breaking limit wiki too, nothing found .

I love this game, but can’t play more than 30min a raw, cause that make me sick (not because of graphism, just it’s often like that with many FPS games for me). But really interesting game, and addictiv.

I remember on old french “Freelancer” server, named Gateway , made by Giko…there was such feature. You needed fuel and food in order to play (it was decreasing with time).
If you never heard about this server, it was made by only 1 guy… and it was more than a mod. It was running in 2005 or 2006, I don’t remember exactly. Author wanted to make a new Elite with Freelancer engine.
Installation of this game was quite complex, and server were naturely not listed in serverlist.
Univers was really persistant (destroyed base or other stuffs never came back), economy was dynamic (already)…but it was 100% RP server…which mean that after level 5, if you died, you were not able to come back on server untill the next day, at 5:00am…
Server news were able in game…
And many other great things, for 2006…
Well, sry for this little nostalgie time :), server closed in 2006, so nothing is left, but this fuel just made me remember about this “mod”, and about all the features (some of them are quite common now, naturely).
