I tried to use direct connect tools and no dice. I’ll consider bug fixes and global server workaround. Thanks for understanding my position.

I uninstalled the game, I did not check the box to remove save games, etc. The game uninstalled successfully. I turned off User Account Control, I restarted the computer, I reinstalled Freelancer, I reinstalled the patch, and I checked myflaccountid again and once more, it was Not Found. Guess I’m playin gsingleplayer while I wait for Star Citizen. Thanks for trying.
UPDATE:
I clicked Multiplayer and a key was already entered. I clicked Create and it worked. However, I cannot find any servers and there seems to be no option for typing in server information myself. Any ideas for this?

Running the 1.1 update from Microsoft usually fixes that problem.
You could try uninstalling/reinstalling FL and then running the 1.1 update right away. Then try accessing the Multiplayer game again.I’ve not run into the problem you’re describing but most players on FLU that have had that issue report that installing the 1.1 update fixed it for them.

Installing the update did not fix it. How do I re-install the game with the update already installed and without touching save files?

Alright, I kept having an issue and I can’t seem to find the answer anywhere online. Some answers on this website came close, so I decided to register and see if I could get an answer here.
I bought a CD copy of freelancer not long ago after remembering it from when I was younger. I recently finished the singleplayer story and wish to play multiplayer.
I really very strongly dislike playing most any game modded. But the game did not generate an account ID for me. I begrudgingly downloaded the FLKeyGen tool from this website to try and fix the problem, but I have no idea where to save the .ADF file.
The only answer to this problem I have seen mentions using extra software to manage freelancer accounts. I have no desire to use any programs other than vanilla freelancer and the official 1.1 patch for playing Freelancer online. All I want is a code to add to my game files so I can play online. Is there any way to do add a code as a fix so that I can solve this bug without using third-party software while playing online?
